This small-batch rum is aged initially in ex-bourbon barrels for five years, before it is transferred into barrels that Olorso Sherry for 3-6 months to be finished. It was bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration or artificial flavours.
Nose: Initial nuances of cooking spices: Cinnamon, Clove and Pepper, are followed by hints of fresh tobacco.
Palate: True to the nose, spices of the clove, cinnamon and pepper open into a round toffee, treacle mid palate. A bright orange marmalade note leads through to a long roasted nut finish with hints of the initial pepper.
