This Antiguan rum began life as column-still five year old rum which was aged initially in ex-bourbon casks. Following that, the spirit was moved over to century-old Royal Oporto Port casks for a finishing period of 3-6 months. It was bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration or artificial flavours.

Nose: Initial nuances of dried fruits and prunes followed with almond nuttiness open into mixed dried citrus peel, dried ginger and black pepper, finishing on a note of quince and tobacco leaf.

Palate: Opening with warm ginger and dried prunes carrying through from the nose. The mid-palate brings leather, fresh cracked black pepper and forest fruits; ending with a pleasant tobacco leaf finish.
