Cuaba, like Cohiba, is a Taino Indian word dating back to the time of Columbus. It was their name for a highly combustible bush, which the Indians used to light their ‘cohibas’. Every Cuaba is made in the distinctive shape known as double figurado. This shape really develops a singular and interesting smoke, dominated at the beginning for the binder and the wrapper flavour, intensifying into the full expression when it reaches the thicker part of the cigar.
The Cuaba Divinos is a petit cigar that looks like you're going to smoke it in 5 minutes. It delivers a lot spice and tobacco character, with leathery and earthy smoke. A good, sweet finish that leaves you wanting another one.
