Prunotto Dolcetto D’Alba is a medium to lightweight red wine from the Piedmont wine growing region of Italy. In Piemonte this is your everyday wine. The grapes for the Prunotto Dolcetto D’Alba are sourced from vineyards in the areas of Barbaresco, Treiso, Alba and Monforte. After pressing, 7 days maceration and malolactic fermentation the wine is left to rest for three months in stainless steel tanks  to keep the characteristic charm fruitiness of the varietal . no oak. The Prunotto winery is located in Alba, the most important focal point of the Langhe, equidistant from Barbaresco and Barolo, on the right bank of the Tanaro River. The property sits on a smooth plain surrounded by vineyards of the Langhe and Roero regions.
