Founder Paul Draper has practiced and engendered a practical, hands-off approach to winemaking at Ridge, one that has resulted in an exceptional and highly sought-after range of wines. 74% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, 2% Mataro. Hand-harvested, sustainably grown estate grapes which ferment via natural yeast, slow and steady. The wine ages for 14 months in American oak which adds structure and spice. Complex aromas of raspberry, black pepper and vanilla. Full bodied with firm acidity, flavour complexity and a long finish.
