Château Grand Boise’s vineyard is planted on the slopes and terraces of the premium sub-appellation of Cotes de Provence Sainte Victoire. The property consists of 400 hectares of forest and 30 hectares of vines spread over 80 different plots, with soil composed of clay, pink marble and limestone. The high altitude and cool temperature contributes to the exceptional style of Grand Boise wines, and brings characteristic freshness, depth and complexity to the wines, which are all made from organic grapes. 50% Vermentino, 50% Semillon, low yileds, partly aged in large oak barrels and partly in amphora. The wine offers a fruity and spicy nose. The palate reveals notes of exotics fruits, lemons with a peppery and mineral finish. Sémillon brings boldness and volume and Vermentino brings elegance and length.
