Grapes: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Château Seguin’s terroir, a patchwork of fine Villafranchian gravel and multi-coloured clay, was famous as early as the 19th century. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon combine here to produce a noble blend. This has a refined bouquet with smoky and pine resin nuances. It is also rich and deep on the palate, clearly one of the great wines of Pessac.
